«Papa, fais-moi un bracelet…»
C’est ainsi que cette aventure a débuté, dans mon sous-sol, en bricolant un bracelet pour mon fils. Je me suis servi d’une cordelette et d’un clip chromé récupéré sur un vieux sac. Très vite, mes filles, puis mon entourage m’en ont réclamés. Chaque semaine, je tricotais quelques exemplaires et je les envoyais gracieusement à mes amis via les réseaux sociaux. Savoir qu’un simple petit bracelet avait le pouvoir de réunir des hommes et des femmes, de tous âges et milieux, autour de lui, constituait ma seule récompense. Le «LINK*» était né. Ma curiosité et ma nature perfectionniste m’ont ensuite poussé à repenser le fermoir autour de matières nobles. Le hasard de mes rencontres m’a fait croiser le chemin de créateurs joailliers, travaillant tant pour eux-mêmes, que pour les grands de la Place Vendôme à Paris. Ils m’ont accueilli dans le monde pourtant très fermé de la bijouterie-joaillerie, en me communiquant leur contagieuse passion. Ma volonté d’aboutir, doublée de leur expertise, ont permis la réalisation de ce bijoux. Mais mon unique réussite est d’avoir établi un LIEN, fait d’une sincère humanité avec toutes ces femmes et ces hommes qui ont contribué à ce projet. Je leur témoigne toute ma reconnaissance.

«Dad, make me a bracelet…»
That’s how this adventure started. That was in my home basement, spending an afternoon tinkering a bracelet for my kid. I used a piece of cord and a recovered handbag old clasp. My daughters and wife loved it immediately and asked for one. Then my friends found it cool too. That’s how I have decided to braid and send some for free to all of my asking friends throughout social media. My unique reward was just to see the power of this small object, able to link men and women, of any ages and backgrounds. The «LINK» concept was born. My own nature pushed me to improve the clasp and to find luxury materials, that could match with it. From that point, some enthusiastic jewel designers, working for the most famous French jewellery brands, accepted and welcomed me in their notoriously closed world. They’ve shared their experience without any expectation. They passed me their catching passion and all together we’ve ended up with this small jewel. Here again this little thing, did its own job by linking people’s faith and filling them with some sincere human relations. My hope now is to see this bracelet follow its way, onto your wrist, and let you discover what or who will you link to.
